Measuring Class Clause Samples

The Measuring Class clause defines the specific group or category of individuals or entities whose status or characteristics are relevant for determining certain outcomes under the agreement. In practice, this clause identifies who is included in the class—such as beneficiaries, shareholders, or family members—at a particular point in time, often for purposes like distributing assets or calculating entitlements. By clearly specifying the composition of the measuring class, the clause ensures clarity and prevents disputes over eligibility or inclusion, thereby facilitating fair and efficient administration of the agreement's terms.
