Meetings During Working Hours. Authorized representatives of Certified Employee Organizations and Exclusive Representatives shall be allowed reasonable access to employees of the PD Unit during work hours for representational purposes including the processing of grievances. Such authorized representatives are to notify their managers in advance of the date, time and location of such meetings and ensure that the proposed meeting will not unreasonably interfere with operational needs of the Police Department. Managers shall provide reasonable opportunities for employees to participate in such meetings. Work time devoted to such visits shall not exceed such time as is reasonably necessary to handle the business at issue.
