Common use of Minimum Base Salary Clause in Contracts

Minimum Base Salary. The Superintendent shall be paid a minimum base salary of $310,000.00 per year. The minimum base salary of the Superintendent shall be paid in equal installments in accordance with the rules of the Board governing payment of salary to other professional staff members in the system. For purposes of calculating any per diem payments in this contract, they will be calculated in the same manner as other professional staff members working in the central office.

Any percentage or step increase granted during the term of this contract by the Board or the State to other professional employees of the Board shall automatically be applicable to and added to the minimum annual salary of the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall also participate in sales tax and/ other supplements at the ratio paid Directors.
