Minimum wages. Except for employees whose wage is required to be fixed pursuant to Labor Law Section 220, all persons employed by the Contractor and any Subcontractor in the manufacture or furnishing of the supplies, materials, or equipment, or the furnishing of work, labor, or services, used in the performance of this Contract, shall be paid, without subsequent deduction or rebate unless expressly authorized by Law, not less than the sum mandated by Law. 69.3. Working Conditions: No part of the Work, labor or services shall be performed or rendered by the Contractor in any plants, factories, buildings or surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary or hazardous or dangerous to the health and safety of employees engaged in the performance of this Contract. Compliance with the safety, sanitary and factory inspection Laws of the state in which the Work is to be performed shall be prima facie evidence of compliance with this Article.
