Common use of Modalities Clause in Contracts

Modalities. 1. In view of the objectives and principles set out above, the Parties agree to take all the necessary measures to ensure the conclusion of new WTO-compatible Economic Partnership Agreements, removing progressively barriers to trade between them and enhancing cooperation in all areas relevant to trade. 2. The Economic Partnership Agreements, as development instruments, aim to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ smooth and gradual integration of the ACP States into the world economy, especially by making full use of the potential of regional integration and South-South trade. 3. The Parties agree that these new trading arrangements shall be introduced gradually.
