Common use of Mode of Service Clause in Contracts

Mode of Service. Service of any demand, notice, communication or other document to be made or delivered under this Charge may be made: (a) by leaving it at the relevant address for service referred to in Clause 18.1; (b) by sending it by pre-paid first class letter (or by airmail if to or from an address outside the UK) through the post to the relevant address for service referred to in Clause 18.1; or (c) by fax to the relevant fax number referred to in Clause 18.1 and so that any fax shall be deemed to be in writing and, if it bears the signature of the server or its authorised representative or agent, to have been signed by or on behalf of the server.
