Movement on the Salary Schedule. The rates of pay within the classifications listed shall be itemized by the schedule attached as an addendum. Employees shall be raised one step on July 1 of each year as long as they have begun employment prior to March 1 of the preceding year in order to be eligible for the step increase. Salary step increases are not automatic in a negotiation year and will not be paid until said negotiations are complete.
