Common use of Multiplier Clause in Contracts

Multiplier. A constant or variable number (which may be greater than or less than one) to be multiplied by the relevant Index for a Variable Rate Debt Security. Notes: Callable or non-callable, puttable or non-puttable Debt Securities with maturities of more than one day. New York Banking Day: Any day other than (a) a Saturday, (b) a Sunday, (c) a day on which banking institutions in the City of New York are required or permitted by law or executive order to close, or (d) a day on which the FRBNY is closed.
