MUTUAL INTERESTS. The Company and the Union share a mutual interest in fostering safe working conditions for all employees. The Company and Union will endeavor to create programs, procedures and policies which will define Nevada Power Company and IBEW Local No. 396 as leaders in providing and promoting a safe workplace. The Company shall make reasonable provisions for the safety of employees in the performance of their work. The Union shall cooperate in promoting the realization of the responsibility of the individual employee with regard to the prevention of accidents.
