Common use of Mutual Objective Clause in Contracts

Mutual Objective. 6 It is the desire of both parties to this Agreement to maintain high 7 standards of safety and health in order to eliminate, as far as possible, 8 industrial accidents and illness. It is our intent that no employee shall 9 be required to perform work that involves an imminent danger to 10 health or physical safety. Imminent danger is defined as loss of life or 11 limb. Both parties will continue to establish proactive, customer- 12 driven programs and systems to support this mutual objective.
