National Board Certification Program Clause Samples

National Board Certification Program. For teachers who participate in the National Board Certification program, the District will reimburse up to $1,000 of the cost of such participation. Upon successful completion and certification, the District will provide an annual lump sum payment of $750 for the life of the certification; said lump sum payment will not be added to a teacher’s base salary. Any teachers who participate in this program will not be eligible for professional growth credit for such participation. Psychologists with a Nationally Certified School Psychologist endorsement shall also be provided with an annual lump sum payment of $750 for the life of the certification.
National Board Certification Program. For teachers who participate in the National Board Certification Program, the District will pay in full the cost of registration and tuition fees upon approval of the Superintendent or designee. Upon successful completion and certification, as determined by official notification to the Superintendent, the District will provide an annual payment of $2,000 for the life of the certification; said payment will not be added to a teacherʼs base salary. The initial payment will be given by the second pay period following the receipt of certification. Each school year, thereafter, the payment will be issued by the second pay period of the new school year. Teachers enrolled in the National Board Certification program will be given two (2) work days per school year to work on National Board Program components upon approval of the Superintendent or designee.
National Board Certification Program a. The District will pay the full cost of all fees and District approved activities, minus any Federal or State subsidies if available, to support a teacher's participation in the certification process for up to two (2) years. b. The District will assist and support the National Board Certification candidates by making available to them materials and equipment, such as video cameras, editing equipment, and computers that the District owns. c. By September 1st of each year, the District will send all National Board Certification Program participants, and SOMEA, a letter indicating what District approved activities it will support for that contractual year. d. In exchange, the teacher agrees to continue to work in the District for an additional two (2) full years following certification. e. If more teachers sign up than there are available District supported slots, participating teachers will be selected based on a lottery administered jointly by the district and SOMEA Executive Committee.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD CERTIFICATION Contractor certifies that no more than one (1) final unappealable finding of contempt of court by a Federal court has been issued against Contractor within the immediately preceding two-year period because of Contractor's failure to comply with an order of a Federal court, which orders Contractor to comply with an order of the National Labor Relations Board. (Pub. Contract Code §10296) (Not applicable to public entities.)

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • National Labor Relations Board Orders No more than one, final unappealable finding of contempt of court by a federal court has been issued against Contractor within the immediately preceding two-year period because of Contractor's failure to comply with an order of a federal court requiring Contractor to comply with an order of the National Labor Relations Board. Contractor swears under penalty of perjury that this representation is true.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.
