Network Transmission Service Clause Samples

The Network Transmission Service clause defines the terms under which network transmission services are provided between parties. It typically outlines the responsibilities for maintaining, operating, and ensuring the reliability of the network infrastructure used to transmit data or electricity. For example, it may specify service levels, access rights, and procedures for handling outages or maintenance. The core function of this clause is to establish clear expectations and obligations regarding the use and management of network transmission, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring consistent service delivery.
Network Transmission Service. Network Transmission Service shall mean transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Part III of the PJM Tariff or transmission service comparable to such service that is provided to a Load Serving Entity that is also a Transmission Owner (as that term is defined in the PJM Tariff).
Network Transmission Service. EPE’s obligation to accept and pay for any Product is subject to approval by the Network Service Provider of EPE’s (i) application for designation of the Facility or this Agreement as a Network Resource for EPE’s native load customers; (ii) application for designation of the Facility or this Agreement as a Network Load; each of (i) and (ii) above without conditions materially unsatisfactory to EPE or requirements of material transmission upgrades (collectively, the “NSP Approvals”). EPE shall no later than ten (10) Business Days after the Effective Date, make a written request for all NSP Approvals and thereafter use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to obtain such NSP Approvals within one hundred fifty (150) Days from the Effective Date (“Designation Approval Date”). EPE shall provide Seller prompt written notice upon receipt of all such NSP Approvals. If any or all of the NSP Approvals are not received by the Designation Approvals Date or any NSP Approval would require conditions materially unsatisfactory to EPE in its sole discretion, EPE shall promptly provide Seller written notice notifying Seller that EPE elects to terminate this Agreement, upon which the Parties shall have no obligations or liabilities to each other hereunder, subject to EPE’s obligation to return the Security Fund to Seller.
Network Transmission Service. PECO Energy will arrange for Network Transmission Service as defined by PJM. [********************************************************************]
Network Transmission Service. 1.1 OVEC agrees, during the term of this Agreement, to provide Network Transmission Service for Customer, and Customer agrees to pay for such service, in accordance with OVEC’s Open Access Transmission Tariff (“Open Access Tariff”) filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”), the Service Schedules appended thereto, as applicable, and for other costs identified herein or in attachments hereto as incurred on behalf of Customer, but not otherwise recovered from Customer, pursuant to the Service Schedules. 1.2 The terms and conditions of such Network Transmission Service shall be governed by the Open Access Tariff, as it exists at the time of this Agreement, or as hereafter amended. The Open Access Tariff as it currently exists or as hereafter amended is incorporated in this Agreement by reference. In the case of any conflict between this Agreement and the Open Access Tariff, the Open Access Tariff shall control. 1.3 The Application for Network Transmission Service tendered by Customer and accepted by OVEC for this Agreement is hereby incorporated by this reference and made a part of this Agreement.
Network Transmission Service. Currently, FERC requires Bundled Retail Load served by Midwest ISO Transmission Owners to take Transmission Service under the EMT. If 3 As that term is defined in the Service Agreement. AmerenUE is at some point not required to take Transmission Service for Bundled Retail Load under the EMT, then, and in such event, the Service Agreement will terminate concurrently with the point in time when AmerenUE is no longer required to take Transmission Service for Bundled Retail Load under the EMT, but such termination of the Service Agreement under this paragraph 18 will not affect AmerenUE’s membership participation status in the Midwest ISO and the MoPSC shall continue to have jurisdiction over the transmission component of the rates set for Bundled Retail Load. The Signatories further acknowledge, however, that as a participant in the Midwest ISO as contemplated herein, AmerenUE may remain subject to charges from the Midwest ISO for Bundled Retail Load under the EMT that are assessed ratably to all load- serving utilities who are participants in the Midwest ISO, but who are not taking Transmission Service for their Bundled Retail Load under the EMT. As provided for in paragraph 23 of this 2008 Stipulation, the Signatories also acknowledge that no ratemaking treatment has been adopted for these charges.

Related to Network Transmission Service

  • Interconnection Service Interconnection Service allows the Interconnection Customer to connect the Large Generating Facility to the Participating TO’s Transmission System and be eligible to deliver the Large Generating Facility’s output using the available capacity of the CAISO Controlled Grid. To the extent the Interconnection Customer wants to receive Interconnection Service, the Participating TO shall construct facilities identified in Appendices A and C that the Participating TO is responsible to construct.

  • Transmission encryption All data transmissions of County PHI or PI outside the secure internal network must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128-bit or higher, such as AES. Encryption can be end to end at the network level, or the data files containing PHI can be encrypted. This requirement pertains to any type of PHI or PI in motion such as website access, file transfer, and E-Mail.

  • Network Interconnection Methods 3.1 The Interconnection provided herein may not be used solely for the purpose of originating a Party’s own interexchange traffic.

  • Provisional Interconnection Service Prior to the completion of the Large Facility Interconnection Procedures and prior to completion of requisite Attachment Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, System Upgrade Facilities, System Distribution Upgrades, or System Protection Facilities, the Developer may request an evaluation for Provisional Interconnection Service. NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall determine, through available studies or additional studies as necessary, whether stability, short circuit, thermal, and/or voltage issues would arise if the Developer interconnects without modifications to the Large Generating Facility or the New York State Transmission System (or Distribution System as applicable). NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall determine whether any Attachment Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, System Upgrade Facilities, System Deliverability Upgrades, or System Protection Facilities, which are necessary to meet Applicable Laws and Regulations, Applicable Reliability Standards, and Good Utility Practice, are in place prior to the commencement of interconnection service from the Large Facility. Where available studies indicate that the Attachment Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, System Upgrade Facilities, System Deliverability Upgrades, or System Protection Facilities are required for the interconnection of a new, modified and/or expanded Large Facility but such facilities are not currently in place, NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, will perform a study, at the Developer’s expense, to confirm the facilities that are required for Provisional Interconnection Service. The maximum permissible output of the Large Facility in the Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement shall be studied, at the Developer’s expense, and updated annually. The NYISO shall issue the study’s findings in writing to the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner(s). Following a determination by NYISO, in conjunction with the Connecting Transmission Owner, that the Developer may reliably provide Provisional Interconnection Service, NYISO shall tender to the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, a Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement. NYISO, Developer, and Connecting Transmission Owner may execute the Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement, or the Developer may request the filing of an unexecuted Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement with the Commission. The Developer shall assume all risk and liabilities with respect to changes between the Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement and the Large Generator Interconnection Agreement, including changes in output limits and the cost responsibilities for the Attachment Facilities, System Upgrade Facilities, System Deliverability Upgrades, and/or System Protection Facilities.
