Common use of New Positions Clause in Contracts

New Positions. (a) If during the life of this Agreement, and regardless of the classification system in place, NAV CANADA creates a new position, it shall so advise the Institute and provide it with the proposed job description and occupational group as well as the proposed effective date of the position and its location. (b) If the Institute and NAV CANADA do not agree to the proposed classification and rate of pay, either party may submit a grievance in accordance with Article 18 of this Agreement.
