NJEA Convention Sample Clauses
The NJEA Convention clause establishes the rights and procedures for employees to attend the annual New Jersey Education Association Convention. Typically, this clause allows eligible staff members to be absent from work without penalty during the days of the convention, provided they follow any required notification or documentation procedures. Its core function is to ensure that employees can participate in professional development and union activities without risking loss of pay or disciplinary action.
NJEA Convention. During NJEA Convention Days, one (1) of the days on which schools are closed will be granted.
NJEA Convention. Teachers attending the annual convention of the NJEA shall receive reimbursement of ten dollars ($10) for expense upon submission of receipts for expenditures of educational materials and a receipt of certificate of attendance furnished by the NJEA.
NJEA Convention. Any support staff member who notifies the Board of Education that they will be attending the annual convention of the New Jersey Education Association shall be granted the right to attend for a period of not more than two days in any one year and he/she shall receive his/her whole salary for the days of actual attendance upon the sessions of such convention with documentation from the secretary/treasurer of the NJEA. The least senior employee with a black seal license may be denied if there is not proper coverage to operate each school building.

NJEA Convention. Each secretarial employee, with the exception of classroom paraprofessionals, shall be given the time necessary to attend the N.J.E.A. convention without any loss in pay or other employee advantage consistent with 18A:31-2.
NJEA Convention. Certified staff members attending the New Jersey Education Association convention shall receive the following amounts: $20.00 for attendance, upon receipt of attendance voucher, up to $40.00 for instructional material, payment subject to approval by the school Superintendent.
