No Duplicating or Pyramiding of Overtime Sample Clauses

The "No Duplicating or Pyramiding of Overtime" clause prevents employees from receiving multiple forms of overtime pay for the same hours worked. In practice, this means that if an employee qualifies for overtime under more than one provision—such as working on a holiday and exceeding daily hours—they will only receive the highest applicable overtime rate for those hours, not a combination of rates. This clause ensures that overtime compensation is fair and avoids double-counting, thereby controlling labor costs and preventing disputes over pay calculations.
No Duplicating or Pyramiding of Overtime. Overtime premiums will not be duplicated nor pyramided, nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal workweek or as hours worked for which the overtime premium is paid.
No Duplicating or Pyramiding of Overtime. It is understood that there will be no duplication of premiums under this Agreement nor pyramiding of overtime.
No Duplicating or Pyramiding of Overtime. Overtime shall be based on the Employee’s regular rate of pay and there shall not be pyramiding of overtime or duplication of hours for purposes of daily and bi-weekly overtime.
