Common use of No Entitlements Clause in Contracts

No Entitlements. The issuance of the LTIP Units acquired hereunder, and the income and value of the same, are not part of normal or expected compensation for the purpose of calculating any severance, resignation, termination, redundancy, dismissal, end-of-service payments, holiday pay, bonuses, long-service awards, pension or retirement benefits or payments or welfare benefits or similar payments. Participant acknowledges and agrees that neither the issuance of the LTIP Units to Participant nor any provision contained herein shall entitle Participant to remain in the employment or service of the Company and its Affiliates or affect the right of the Company and its Affiliates to terminate Participant’s employment or service at any time for any reason.

Participant acknowledges and agrees that neither the issuance of the Performance LTIP Units to Participant nor any provision contained herein shall entitle Participant to remain in the employment or service of the Company and its Affiliates Continuous Service or affect the right of the Operating Partnership, the Company and its their Affiliates to terminate Participant’s employment or service Continuous Service at any time for any reason.
