Although the Board agrees to protect the confidentiality of personal references, academic credentials and other similar documents, it shall not establish any separate personnel file which is not available for the employee's inspection. Termination of employment: Final evaluation of an employee upon termination of his/her employment shall be concluded prior to severance and no documents and/or other material shall be placed in the personnel file of such employee after severance or otherwise than in accordance with the procedure set forth in this Article excepting that if an employee leaves voluntarily before final evaluation has been filed the evaluation may be filed in their personnel file provided a copy thereof has been mailed, by certified mail, to his last known address.
