Common use of No Shift Differential Clause in Contracts

No Shift Differential. Assigned shift does not qualify and OT is not a full shift a. m. to 8:00 a.m. in addition to the assigned regular shift hours in order to cover for an absent employee. The employee is not entitled to shift differential pay because the regular assigned shift hours do not qualify for shift differential and the overtime worked as a continuation of that regular assigned shift is less than eight hours.
