Noise Mitigation Measures. An acoustical analysis report prepared by a professional experienced in the field of acoustical engineering describing noise attenuation measures to be applied in the development, together with an analysis of the effectiveness of the proposed noise insulation, in order to determine if the prescribed interior noise level requirements are met. If allowable interior noise levels are met by requiring that windows be inoperable or closed, the design for the structure must also specify the means that will be employed to provide ventilation and cooling to ensure a habitable interior environment, as well as to meet fire safe regulations.
