Common use of Non-Discrimination Pledge Clause in Contracts

Non-Discrimination Pledge. The contracting entity shall not discriminate against any employee during the course of employment or application for employment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity or expression, age, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information, order of protection status, arrest record, military status, physical or mental disability unrelated to an individual’s ability to perform the essential functions of their job with or without reasonable accommodations, or unfavorable discharge from the military.

Non-Discrimination Pledge. The contracting entity shall take good faith affirmative action in accordance with its affirmative action plan which has been submitted to an individual’s ability to perform and approved by the essential functions of their job with or without reasonable accommodationsCity, or unfavorable discharge from the militaryif a plan is required.
