Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Age Clause Samples
The Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Age clause prohibits parties from treating individuals or groups differently or unfairly due to their age. In practice, this means that decisions related to employment, services, benefits, or participation in programs must not be influenced by a person's age unless age is a legitimate and legally recognized factor. For example, an employer cannot refuse to hire or promote someone solely because they are considered too young or too old. The core function of this clause is to promote fairness and equal opportunity by preventing age-based bias and ensuring compliance with applicable anti-discrimination laws.
