NONRENEWAL OF PROBATIONARY CONTRACTS Clause Samples

The "Nonrenewal of Probationary Contracts" clause defines the process and conditions under which an employer may choose not to renew an employee's contract during their probationary period. Typically, this clause outlines the notice requirements, timelines, and any procedural steps that must be followed if the employer decides not to continue the employment relationship at the end of the probation. For example, it may require the employer to provide written notice to the employee a certain number of days before the contract expires. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear and fair framework for ending employment during the probationary phase, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes for both parties.
