Not Salary Clause Samples

The "Not Salary" clause clarifies that certain payments or benefits provided under an agreement are not considered part of an employee's salary. For example, this may apply to bonuses, expense reimbursements, or other forms of compensation that are specifically excluded from the definition of salary for purposes such as calculating benefits, taxes, or severance. The core function of this clause is to prevent misunderstandings or disputes about what constitutes salary, ensuring that only specified amounts are treated as such for legal and administrative purposes.
