Notification and Transmittal of Monies. The Association will certify to the Board, in writing, the current rate of membership dues by September 15. By September 15, the Meridian Education Association shall receive a list of certified employees by building and shall be notified of all subsequent changes. The Association shall submit authorizations to deduct dues for membership in the United Teaching Profession by October 25th. Additional authorizations for dues deducted when received by the Board from the Association during the school year will be pro-rated over the remaining monthly payments of the employee’s current salary. All remaining unpaid fees shall be deducted from the final paycheck of an employee leaving the employment of the School District before the end of the school year. Said monies, together with records of any corrections, shall be transmitted to the treasurer of the Meridian Education Association on a monthly basis and no later than ten (10) days following the actual deduction.‌
