Notification of Suspension/Revocation of CDL. In the event any bargaining unit employee shall suffer a suspension or revocation of his CDL, he must notify the Executive Director in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of any event that would cause the forfeiture or revocation of the CDL but under no circumstances shall such notification be given after the beginning of the next scheduled workday. Failure to comply will subject the employee to disciplinary action up to and including discharge at the discretion of the Employer. Any bargaining unit employee who suffers such a suspension or revocation may be disciplined, including suspension without pay, demotion, or discharge, at the sole discretion of the Employer or the Executive Director.
