Common use of Notification to Employee and Union Clause in Contracts

Notification to Employee and Union. Within seven (7) calendar days of the date of appointment to a vacant position, the name of the successful applicant shall be sent to each applicant and a copy posted on all bulletin boards. The Union Executive shall be notified electronically within seven (7) calendar days of all promotions, demotions, hirings, paid and unpaid leaves exceeding 30 calendar days, resignations, retirements, and terminations of employment.
