Common use of Notification to Employee and Union Clause in Contracts

Notification to Employee and Union. (a) Upon the close of any posting, the names of all applicants shall be copied to the union. (b) Within seven (7) calendar days of the date of appointment to a vacant position, the name of the successful applicant shall be made available to all members. (c) The Union shall be notified of all bargaining unit promotions, demotions, hirings, layoffs, transfers, recalls, resignations, retirements, deaths and/or terminations of employment.
