Common use of Number of Meals Clause in Contracts

Number of Meals. (a) For the convenience of the Employer, Bartenders working ten (10) hour shifts and all employees, working full shifts shall be entitled to two (2) meals per day, one of which shall be eaten within one (1) hour before commencement of the shift and the second no sooner than three (3) hours and no later than five (5) hours after commencement of the shift. Bartenders shall be entitled to one (1) meal to be eaten no sooner than three (3) hours and no later than (5) hours after commencement of the shift. (b) All employees working six (6) or four (4) hour shifts shall be entitled to one (1) meal per day.
