The shift premium adjustment will be made annually based on the negotiated wage percent- age increase or decrease. All hours worked on Sunday as part of his normal week shall be considered shift hours and there shall be an additional of the regular hourly wage rate per hour paid in addition to the hourly rate. Shift hours premium shall not be paid in respect of those hours for which overtime is paid. For the purposes of this clause, Sunday defined as the hours between a.m. and midnight Sunday. All Cashiers shall be allowed fifteen (15) minutes at the completion of their shifts to perform their required duties. No Supervisor shall replace a Local member for a peri- od longer than two (2) hours unless in the case of emergency. Each employee of the Parking Authority who has complet- ed his regular day's work and who has left the assigned work location and is called out and reports for overtime work shall be paid by the Parking Authority as a minimum the equivalent of hours at a rate of one and one-half times his nor- mal hourly rate, whether such employee works or not, for each such employee is called out and reports for overtime work or work as the case may be. Change of Shift Where a regular shift of an employee coming within the Unit is to be changed, the employee shall be given seventy-two(72) hours' notice of such change and if the change of shift necessitates the employee on a day which would otherwise be his regular day off, he shall be enti- tled to time and one-half for all time so on such days off PROVIDED that all of the shall not apply where the change of shift is caused by the illness of employeesor by emergencies. Any employee who is reporting sick or is gong to be absent for any reason will give the Director of Operations or his designee reasonable notice before the start of his regularly scheduled shift to allow for a replacement to be sent to his work location before the start of his regularly scheduled shift except in the case of an emergency. Any employee reporting back to work after any period of absence will give notice to the Director of Operations or his designee during normal office hours, which are between a.m. to Any change of address or telephone number must be reported to the Director of Operationsor his designee in writ- ing within hours after such change. In the event employees of their own accord, for their own personal convenience, arrange to change shifts with appropriately qualified other employees, such request for exchange must be made on the form provided and initialled by the Director of Care or the Administrator, provided that the Employer incurs no additional costs as a result of such shift changes. If an employee is required to work an extra continuous full shift as overtime, a meal will be supplied during such shift, in addition to overtime rated pay. Where three (3) hours of overtime is worked, one (1) meal will be provided in addition to overtime rated pay. An employee will be entitled to a hot meal: (a) when called in under Article 13.05: or when required to work, without prior notice, two (2) or more consecutive hours immediately succeeding his regular quitting time. A second hot meal will be provided to employees called in, without prior notice, for a full shift on a scheduled day of rest. Voluntary Mandatory Spare Boards (a) Overtime shift coverage will be on a voluntary Spare Board basis. Employees on days off will place their names on the spare board stating the days they will be available. If in the computation Company’s opinion this method of covering shifts proves to be unsatisfactory, overtime shift coverage will revert to the mandatory spare board system as stated in Article Hour shift workers will guarantee coverage by use of a Mandatory Spare Board. Each shift worker would be available for call for a two (2) hour period commencing eleven (11) hours from the completion of his last shift to fill a vacancy occurring on the next shift. Example: Last schedule shift Tuesday hours hours. This employee would be available by phone from Wednesday hours until Wednesday hours to be ‘called out’ to work the Wednesday day shift. If the employee has not been called out by hours Wednesday, he would be released from Spare Board” responsibility. If, on three (3) sep- arate instances within a twenty-seven (27) week referred period, it is not possible to fill a vacancy in sub-paragraph hereofthe manner set forth in Article (a) or the Company retains the right to terminate the twelve (12) hour shift schedule and revert to the former eight (8) hour shift schedule. All hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours Holiday pay and pay for work performed on a recognized hol- iday shall be treated as two (2) separate matters. OF WORK. The following working conditions normal hours of work for employees shall be operative during thirty-six and quarter (36 114) hours per week and seven and onequarter (7 hours per day. It is understood that other arrangements regarding hours of work and overtime may be the term parties with respect lo variable work days or variable work weeks. Each employee of the Parking Authority who has complet- ed his regular day's work and who has left the assigned work location and is called out and reports for overtime work shall be paid by the Parking Authority as a minimum the equivalent of hours at a rate of one and one-half times his nor- mal hourly rate, whether such employee works or not, for each such employee is called out and reports for overtime work or work as the case may be.
