Common use of Openness and Trust Clause in Contracts

Openness and Trust. In relation to this Agreement the Councils will be open and trusting in their dealings with each other, make information and analysis available to each other, discuss and develop ideas openly and contribute fully to all aspects of making the joint working successful. Whilst respecting the mutual need for commercial confidentiality, the Councils will willingly embrace a commitment to transparency in their dealings and in particular a need to comply with statutory access to information requirements including the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the Freedom of Information ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ and supporting codes of practice. The Councils will be aware of the need for and respect matters of commercial confidentiality and potential sensitivity;
