Common use of Openness and Trust Clause in Contracts

Openness and Trust. In relation to this Agreement the parties will be open and trusting in their dealings with each other, make information and analysis relating to this Agreement available to each other, to the extent that each party has access to any such information and analysis and is legally able to make the information and analysis available, use such information to support the Agreement and the relationship between the parties, discuss and develop ideas openly and contribute fully to all aspects of making this Agreement successful. Whilst respecting the mutual need for commercial confidentiality, each party will willingly embrace a commitment to transparency in their dealings with each other and in particular a need to comply with statutory access to information requirements and the Freedom of Information ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ and supporting codes of practice. The parties will be aware of the need for and respect matters of commercial confidentiality and potential sensitivity.
