ORGANIZATION RECOGNITION. SECTION 4.1 In accordance with the County’s Policy and Procedures For Granting Recognition To A Certified Representative of Employees of the County of Defiance, the County and the Sheriff do hereby recognize and accept the organization as sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all full-time employees of the County Communication’s Office, who are included in the Bargaining Unit herein after defined.
SECTION 4.2 The term Bargaining Unit shall be deemed to include those individuals who have completed their probationary period and are employed full-time in the following classifications:

SECTION 4.4 Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Article, Management, part-time, temporary and seasonal employees shall not be included in the Bargaining Unit.
SECTION 4.5 All terms and conditions of the County’s Policy and Procedure For Granting Recognition To, And Bargaining with a Certified Representative of Employees of the County of Defiance, shall be considered a part of and applicable to this Agreement.

ORGANIZATION RECOGNITION. Professional & Technical Engineers, Local 21, AFL-CIO is the formally recognized employee organization for the representation units listed below, and such employee organization has been certified as such pursuant to Board of Supervisors’ Resolution 81/1165. B. Any new title authorized for use by the Board will be negotiated for inclusion or exclusion from the bargaining unit. If the parties are unable to agree on the inclusion or exclusion of a title, the Organization will pursue procedures under the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Act.

Transfer: The change of an employee to another position in the same class in a different department, or to another position in a class which is allocated to a salary schedule the top step of which is within five (5) percent of the top step of the class previously occupied in the same or different department or as otherwise defined in deep class ordinances or resolutions.
