Common use of ORIENTATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Clause in Contracts

ORIENTATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. 8.05.01 The Board shall meet the requirements of Ohio Revised Code 3319.112(A)(8)(9) to provide professional development and sufficient financial resources to support the professional learning required by this Agreement. All professional development will align with the Ohio Professional Development Standards. 8.05.02 No later than September 15 of each year, a training for teachers and administrators, jointly on the components of the teacher evaluation. Procedure, including the calibration of evaluation ratings, the evaluation Standards for Ohio Educators, rubrics, tools, processes, methodology and the use of the High Quality Student Data (HQSD) 8.06 Evaluation Structure and Procedures 8.06.01 No teacher shall be subject to more than one (1) evaluation cycle per school year. 8.06.02 The evaluation cycle shall be completed no later than May 1 and the teacher shall receive the final written report of the cycle, including the assigned evaluation rating, no later than May 10.
