Outages and Interruptions Sample Clauses

The 'Outages and Interruptions' clause defines the rules and procedures for handling periods when a service or system becomes unavailable or experiences disruptions. Typically, this clause outlines the provider's responsibilities to notify users of planned maintenance, respond to unexpected outages, and restore service within specified timeframes. It may also address whether users are entitled to compensation or service credits for prolonged interruptions. The core function of this clause is to set clear expectations for both parties regarding service reliability and to allocate responsibility in the event of downtime, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring operational transparency.
