Common use of Owner-Requested Changes Clause in Contracts

Owner-Requested Changes. If the Owner requests changes in the Contract Documents that would materially affect the completion of the Work by lengthening the critical path of the Overall Project Schedule, the Design Professional shall recommend the appropriate number of additional days to be considered in the Change Order. CM/GC agrees that any monetary remedy associated with such extensions of time shall be no greater than the actual direct costs incurred by the CM/GC.
