Common use of Ownership of Information and Data Clause in Contracts

Ownership of Information and Data. Subject to any limitations of the privacy laws of the Republic of Ireland, Registrant agrees and acknowledges that the Registry and/or any Registry delegee shall own all database, compilation, collective, and similar rights, title, and interests worldwide in any domain name database(s) and all information and derivative works generated from the domain name database(s), and that such domain name database may include, without limitation, any information supplied by Registrant or by the Registry that appears or should appear in the Whois or similar information repositories, and any other information generated or obtained in connection with providing domain name registration services.
