P urpose. The Security Fund will serve as security for full payment and performance by the Company in accordance with this Agreement and any costs, losses, or damages incurred by the City as a result of any failure by the Company to abide by any provision or provisions of this Agreement.

P urpose. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide for the distribution of Coronavirus Relief Fund money under Act 24 of 2020 to Recipient for uses identified in the Application and permitted by the County; the CARES Act, as may be amended; Act 24, as may be amended; and related guidance from the U.S. Treasury and the Commonwealth, as may be amended.

P urpose. Supporting statewide and county elections and recorder agencies with funding to combat the coronavirus pandemic for the 2020 Federal election cycle through the distribution of the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number 21.019, as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

This activity is consistent with the purpose set forth in Article 2 of the Space Act Umbrella Agreement (No. SAA3-1639) between the Parties (the “Umbrella Agreement”) for the Partner to develop, build, and test aerospace components using NASA GRC’s goods, services, facilities, and/or equipment to advance Aerojet’s interests; the AEPS PPU is a piece of sophisticated aerospace technology that will be tested for Aerojet’s benefit using NASA GRC’s unique facilities and expertise. This activity is also consistent with NASA’s mission in that it will help facilitate in general the advancement of PPU technology, which is anticipated to be used in future NASA endeavors as the Agency pursues higher power electric propulsion missions.
