The Paratransit Service clause defines the provision of specialized transportation services for individuals with disabilities who are unable to use standard public transit. Paratransit Service. Residents of Treasure Island requiring paratransit services mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act will be considered to be within the jurisdiction of SFMTA and will receive paratransit services from SFMTA. Eligible passengers coming to Treasure Island from East Bay destinations within the AC Transit service area boundaries for ADA services will receive ADA Paratransit services to the extent required by law from the East Bay Paratransit Consortium acting as the agent of AC Transit. In its capacity as the East Bay Paratransit Consortium lead, AC Transit will be fully compensated by TIMMA for all invoiced East Bay Paratransit trips to and from the East Bay, at a rate to be determined in the Operating Agreement.
Paratransit Service. Transportation services for seniors and people with disabilities including ADA-mandated or non-mandated shuttle or fixed-route services, including door- to-door services, group trips, and individual demand-response trip services; taxi programs; Alameda CTC Paratransit Program Implementation Guidelines Meals on Wheels or meal delivery; volunteer driver programs; and purchase of EBP tickets.
Paratransit Service. One paratransit vehicle is in service during normal operating hours. Paratransit services are provided within three quarters of a mile of the fixed route service. Stops and Other Infrastructure: The County maintains existing bus stops, shelters, signs posts, benches, and related infrastructure, as well as plans for the placement of new stops and other infrastructure.
Paratransit Service. Waukesha Metro is responsible for and will provide paratransit services in the Federally required ¾ mile buffer around Route 1 including around all segments of Route 1 that extend into Milwaukee County. MCTS is responsible for and will provide Transit Plus paratransit services in the Federally required ¾ mile buffer around the former MCTS GoldLine as it extends into Waukesha County from 124th & Bluemound Road to Brookfield Square shopping center. This extended service into Waukesha County is anticipated to end date on December 31, 2025, or as such date is mutually agreed upon. Waukesha Metro agrees to provide paratransit services in compliance with applicable FTA and ADA requirements, which requirements must flow down to any third-party subcontractors providing this service on behalf of Contractor.
Paratransit Service. The County’s and MTA’s paratransit service (known as Hele-On Kako‘o Paratransit) has failed to provide service that is “comparable to the level of designated public transportation services provided to individuals without disabilities using such system.” 42 U.S.C. § 12143(a); 49 C.F.R. § 37.121(a). In their operation of Hele-On Kako‘o Paratransit, the County and MTA have failed to: i. Make reservation service available during at least all normal business hours of MTA’s administrative offices and during times comparable to normal business hours on days when MTA’s offices are not open before a service day. 49 C.F.R. §37.131(b)(1). MTA accepts reservation calls for Hele-On Kako‘o Paratransit (and schedules rides) Monday through Friday, leaving individuals who wish to lodge a request on Sunday (for Monday travel) without an equivalent scheduling option. ii. Provide paratransit service to ADA paratransit-eligible individuals that is free from unlawful “capacity constraints.” 49 C.F.R. § 37.131(f). MTA has a substantial number of significantly untimely pickups or dropoffs, in violation of 49 C.F.R. § 37.131(f)(3)(i)(a). This includes many pickups or dropoffs that were more than 45 minutes early or late and others that were hours early or late. iii. Limit suspension of paratransit service to “a reasonable period of time” where, pursuant to an established process including notice and an opportunity to be heard, the agency determines that an ADA-eligible individual has engaged in a pattern or practice of missing scheduled trips.

  • Transit Service is the delivery of certain traffic between Carrier and a third party ILEC, CLEC or CMRS provider by Frontier over a separate trunk group between Carrier and Frontier where appropriate trunks exist between Carrier and third party through Frontier’s tandem. The following traffic types will be delivered: (I) Local Traffic originated from Carrier to such third-party and (ii) Local Traffic originated from such third-party to Frontier’s tandem and terminated to Carrier.

  • Community Based Adult Intensive Service (AIS) and Child and Family Intensive Treatment (CFIT) – AIS/CFIT programs offer services primarily based in the home and community for qualifying adults and children with moderate- to-severe mental health conditions. These programs consist at a minimum of ongoing emergency/crisis evaluations, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and management, case management, psychiatric nursing services, and individual, group, and family therapy. This plan covers individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy when rendered by: • Psychiatrists; • Licensed Clinical Psychologists; • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers; • Advance Practice Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse Specialists/Nurse Practitioners- Behavioral Health); • Licensed Mental Health Counselors; and • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.

  • Service Areas HHSC authorizes the MA Dual SNP to add the MA Product to Texas service areas that are not identified in Attachment C, Proposed MA Product Service Areas, provided it receives prior CMS approval and complies with the notice requirements specified in this Agreement.

  • Service Area (a) SORACOM shall provide the SORACOM Air Global Service within the area designated on the web site of SORACOM (the “Service Area”), provided, that, the Service Area may be different if stated otherwise as specified by SORACOM separately. However, within the Service Area, you may not use the SORACOM Air Global Service in places where transmissions are difficult to send or receive. (b) The parties of this Agreement acknowledge that there may be countries or locations within which SORACOM may be restricted from providing the SORACOM Air Global Service due to applicable laws, regulations, decisions, rules or orders (“Restrictions”). During the Term, SORACOM will use reasonable efforts to monitor whether there are any such Restrictions. SORACOM may in its sole discretion and at any time, suspend, discontinue, limit, or modify the SORACOM Air Global Service or impose additional requirements on the provision of the SORACOM Air Global Service, as may be reasonably required to comply with any such Restrictions. (c) In no event will SORACOM be required to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service in countries or locations, or in a manner that would be in violation of the Restrictions and its failure to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service due to the Restrictions will not be deemed to be a breach of its obligations under this Agreement. (d) In the event that any Restriction, or any change in applicable law, regulation, decision, rule or order materially or adversely affects the delivery of the SORACOM Air Global Service (including the economic viability thereof), SORACOM will notify Subscribers in writing and the parties will negotiate in good faith regarding changes to this Agreement. If the parties cannot reach agreement within 30 days after notification from SORACOM requesting renegotiation, SORACOM may terminate the Agreement upon 30 days’ written notice to the Subscriber.
