Part-Time Unit Members Clause Samples

The "Part-Time Unit Members" clause defines the status, rights, and obligations of employees who work less than full-time hours within an organization or bargaining unit. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility for benefits, seniority accrual, and participation in workplace programs, specifying how these aspects differ from those of full-time employees. For example, it may state that part-time members receive prorated benefits or have limited access to certain leave entitlements. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and fairness in the treatment of part-time employees, preventing misunderstandings and disputes regarding their employment terms.
