Pay During Temporary Transfers. Union‌ A temporary transfer will be granted when an employee is placed in a higher rated position. When a temporary transfer is granted, all hours worked in the higher rated position shall be paid at the base rate of the higher rated position or at ten percent (10%) above the transferred employee's rate, whichever is greater. (a) For Pay Grades 1-10: after one hundred thirty (130) cumulative days have been worked, all hours worked in the higher rated position shall be paid at the end rate of the higher rated position or at ten percent (10%) above the transferred employee’s rate, whichever is greater. The new rate will be effective the next pay period. (b) For Pay Grades 11-16: after one hundred thirty (130) cumulative days have been worked, all hours worked in the higher rated position, the employee shall move to the next step as per Schedule A – Hourly Rates 11-16, or at ten percent (10%) above the transferred employee's rate, whichever is greater. The increment will be effective the next pay period.
