Pay for Certain Assistants. Assistants whose regular assignment is in Foundations; Compass Academy; or in the Preschool Program will have $1.10 added to his/her regular hourly salary. The District will make every reasonable effort to avoid requiring an employee to monitor a classroom for more than thirty minutes without a licensed teacher in the room.
Pay for Certain Assistants. Assistants whose regular assignment is in Foundations 1 and 2, Compass Academy, in the Preschool Program, or a special program at Riverside Elementary will have $1.10 added to his/her regular hourly salary. The District will make every reasonable effort to avoid requiring an employee to monitor a classroom for more than thirty minutes without a licensed teacher in the room.
Pay for Certain Assistants. Assistants whose regular assignment is in Foundations; Compass Academy; or in the Preschool Program will have $1.10 added to their regular hourly salary. Assistants who do not already receive an extra $1.10 and who substitute in a special education instructional assistant position where the pay is higher will receive the extra $1.10 per hour. Employees who regularly receive the additional $1.10 and who substitute in a position where the $1.10 is not paid, will not lose their regular wage. Assistants who hold a substitute authorization/license and substitute teach will receive the second step substitute pay rate. The District will make every reasonable effort to avoid requiring an employee to monitor a classroom for more than thirty minutes without a licensed teacher in the room.

  • Educational Assistants Have a current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™, coursework for a certificate that meets the requirements for CDA Credential™ preparation, or is enrolled in and working toward completing a program that prepares the individual to obtain the CDA Credential™ (Act 210, Section 4, SLH 2021 per new section identified as HRS § 302D-39);

  • Roadside Assistance If you purchase the optional Roadside Assistance, we will provide you with 24/7 breakdown assistance (where available) without additional charge. Roadside Assistance includes replacement of lost keys or key fobs, flat tire service, jumpstart, and key lockout services. When deciding whether to purchase Roadside Assistance, you may wish to check whether you have you have other coverage for the services. Roadside Assistance is not insurance. Roadside Assistance is void if you are in breach of this Agreement, including the prohibited uses in paragraph 5.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Employment of Assistants Contractor may, at the Contractor’s own expense, employ such assistants as Contractor deems necessary to perform the services required of Contractor by this Contract. County may not control, direct, or supervise Contractor’s assistants or employees in the performance of those services.
