Pay on Reclassification. (a) An employee whose position is reclassified to a higher level classification shall be promoted and paid in accordance with Article 14. (b) An employee whose position is reclassified to a classification with a lower maximum rate of pay than the employee's current rate of pay shall retain the current rate of pay until such time as the rate for the new classification matches the current rate. (c) The effective date of reclassification shall not be more than sixty (60) days retroactive from the date the employee request was signed by the supervisor or an Employing Authority request was submitted to the Commission.
