Upon separation from service for any reason, all vacation leave balances will be paid to the employee or the employee’s estate as provided by law, at his/her current total rate of pay, at the time that the employee receives a paycheck for the final period of work. Employees separating from employment with less than six months total service will not be paid for any accrued vacation.
