Common use of Pending Grievances Clause in Contracts

Pending Grievances. Any grievance which was presented in writing prior to the date of this Agreement and is in process of adjustment under the terms of the Canadian Master Agreement previously in effect, will continue to be processed under the terms of the prior Canadian Master Agreement and settled in accordance with it for the period prior to the date of this Agreement, and for any subsequent period in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement. Any grievance which is presented in writing on or after the date of this Agreement which is based on the occurrence or nonoccurrence of an event prior to the date of this Agreement shall be processed in accordance with the grievance procedures of this Article Such grievance shall be settled in accordance with the applicable provisions of the prior Canadian Master Agreement for the period prior to the date of this Agreement, and for any period thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement.

Any grievance which is presented in writing on or after the date of this Agreement which is based on the occurrence or nonoccurrence of an event prior to the date of this Agreement shall be processed in accordance with the grievance procedures of this Article Such grievance shall be settled in accordance with the applicable provisions of the prior Canadian Master Agreement for the period prior to the date of this Agreement, and for any period thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement.

Any grievance which is presented in writing on or after the date of this Agreement which is based on the occurrence or nonoccurrence of an event prior to the date of this Agreement shall be processed in accordance with the grievance procedures of this Article 13. Such grievance shall be settled in accordance with the applicable provisions of the prior Canadian Master Agreement for the period prior to the date of this Agreement, and for any period thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement.
