Per Diem Basis Sample Clauses

A Per Diem Basis clause establishes that payments or allowances will be calculated and provided on a daily rate. In practice, this means that compensation, reimbursements, or expenses are determined for each day of work or service, rather than as a lump sum or hourly rate. For example, employees traveling for business may receive a fixed daily amount to cover meals and lodging. The core function of this clause is to simplify and standardize daily payments, ensuring predictability and administrative efficiency for both parties.
