Common use of Performance of a Covered Entity’s Obligations Clause in Contracts

Performance of a Covered Entity’s Obligations. To the extent Business Associate is to carry out a Covered Entity obligation under the Privacy Rule, Business Associate shall comply with the requirements of the Privacy Rule that apply to Covered Entity in the performance of such obligation.
