The "Performance of Changes" clause defines the procedures and obligations for implementing modifications to the original agreement or scope of work. Performance of Changes. Upon receipt of a field order or change order, changes in the Work shall be promptly performed. All changes in the Work shall be performed under applicable conditions of the Construction Documents.

In the event the parties are unable to agree on the adjustments applicable to a Change or acceleration in schedule, then GEC shall, if directed by Owner, nevertheless proceed to perform such Change or accelerate the schedule so long as GEC is paid the costs and charges incurred in performing such Change or accelerating the schedule. Performance of Changes. The issuance of Change Orders shall not invalidate this Agreement. Unless expressly provided otherwise in writing, the Contractor shall perform all changed Work in compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
