Common use of Performance of Remaining Work Clause in Contracts

Performance of Remaining Work. The work remaining after a workforce reduction shall 35 be performed by currently employed nurses until the Employer determines that recall 36 shall be initiated. The Employer may employ laid off Nurses who retain recall rights 37 as On-call Nurses to perform available work.

The Employer Hospital may employ laid off Nurses who retain recall 27 rights 37 as On-call Call Nurses to perform available work, and such laid off nurses who have 28 indicated their availability to perform this work will be offered it before the work is offered 29 to temporary, Resource Pool or contracted nurses. The foregoing section shall not apply 30 to laid-off nurses who do not retain recall rights.
