Common use of Performance Standard Clause in Contracts

Performance Standard. The Work must be performed and completed in accordance with all requirements of law and no Work shall be undertaken until Contractor has been issued all required permits. The Work must be performed in accordance with the best modern practice and with materials and workmanship of the highest quality. Contractor shall check and verify all dimensions, grades and levels before commencement of performance and whenever necessary during the progress thereof.
