Common use of Permanent Position Clause in Contracts

Permanent Position. ‌ For the purposes of this agreement, the term permanent position shall mean a position which is expected to carry over into a succeeding year regardless of the number of hours worked per week. The employee filling such a position, whether full-time (30 hours or more a week) or part-time, (less than (30) hours a week), pays FICA and is eligible to participate in the insurance programs.
